About Us~Here at Althea Lifestyles, we have a passion to provide you with superb, delicious, enjoyable and effective products to match your mood or help you to create the mood you want. In our eyes, you are the most important person and what you want is important to us. However, we do also appreciate that discerning customers may also be interested in knowing who they are buying from. That is, who is behind Althea. So, without fuss here's a little bit about us……. Para 2~Althea Lifestyles was born after we took the decision to leave the corporate world. Our senior executive roles in Sales and Corporate Affairs took us all over the world. This, whilst being enjoyable, was also exhausting and demanding on family life, body and mind. ~~~361~1152~~

Para 3~Given the luxury of thinking time we realised we had a very personal experience of the stresses and strains of having busy careers and the impact that had on both family life and our social life, leaving little time to create a special mood, a relaxing environment or a thoughtful gift. Hence the birth of Althea.~~~361~1154~~

Para 4~We chose the name Althea for a couple of reasons. Firstly Althea means "the healer or wholesome" in Greek and secondly because it's the name of "The Rose of Sharon". Either way we loved the name because it embodied what we wanted to offer, carefully selected beautiful candles or oils that provide healthy and enjoyable benefits.~~~361~1156~~

para 5~Wherever possible when formulating our products we look to sustainable resource, fair trade, organic and natural sources. For example, our candles are made from organic wax and our packaging is from sustainable sources. These are important values to us personally and to Althea.~~~361~1158~~
