| Our essential oil blends are easy and enjoyable to use.
Each Althea 15ml blend used in the correct dosage should provide up to 300 drops per bottle. By following the pictorial step by step guide below you will see just how quickly and easily you can get these yummy blends working for you.
Use the press dropper to collect the oil for the bottle and then push gently down on the press button to release the amount of drops (one drop at a time) you need for your required use.
To mix with an un-fragranced body oil for a massage or for the bath, just put the relevant amount of oil in a small mixing bowl, add the required drops of your chosen Althea blend and stir to mix the oils together. Then your oils are ready for use.
For instant release of Althea blended oils, put a couple of drops directly on to a clean handkerchief or tissue and gently inhale. Please note these oils are 100% concentrated, therefore do not use any more than the recommended dosage.
To use the oils with a burner, pour water into the dish, drop in your preferred strength of oil, light the tea-light, then allow the water to warm which will in turn release the aroma and therapeutic benefits from the oils into the atmosphere. Once the water has warmed up sufficiently to release the oil vapours the tea light can be extinguished if preferred.
Do be careful to keep an eye on the amount of water to ensure that it does not burn dry. Always be careful where you stand the burner when alight and keep away from children, pets or any flammable substances.
Sensible precautions:
1. Do not take internally.
2. Never apply neat essential oil room fragrance blend to skin or hair.
3. Not to be used in the bath or for massage.
4. If you suffer from a medical condition, skin allergies, are pregnant or using homeopathic remedies speak to your doctor or a qualified aromatherapist before using essential oils.
5. Keep out of sight and reach of children and pets.
6. Never leave a lit burner/vaporiser or candle unattended.
